Santina Joy Lora-Umali

Santina Joy Lora-Umali is a Marketing and Communications Associate at Anike Foundation. She plays a pivotal role in shaping Anike Foundation's marketing strategies and online content. Her remarkable adaptability is evident in her unique distinction of contributing to three different Anike Foundation teams.

Santina’s journey with the Foundation commenced in April 2019, and it has been a dynamic one. She started as an Administrative Assistant and Volunteer Coordinator, stepping in during a critical period when administrative support was in short supply. During those initial months, she not only capably managed the responsibilities of multiple administrative assistants but also undertook a comprehensive overhaul of our volunteer recruitment and coordination processes. She introduced innovative procedures that significantly enhanced our operational efficiency. Notably, Santina was the principal architect of our Administrative Manual, setting the gold standard for other Anike Foundation teams to follow. In recognition of her unwavering dedication, industrious spirit, and innovative thinking, Santina was promoted to Senior Administrative Assistant in July 2019.

With administrative challenges successfully conquered, Santina embraced new horizons by taking on the role of Grant Writer & Researcher in October 2019. She was promoted to her current role in August 2020.

Santina's commitment to Anike Foundation is deeply rooted in the organization's mission to foster the educational development of African children and youth. Her extensive experience working with vulnerable and marginalized communities as a development researcher underscores her fervent advocacy for empowerment and inclusivity within society.
