Train Rural Schools in Hygiene and Sanitation

As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in establishing a robust monitoring and evaluation system to provide valuable insights for decision-makers. Your work will help assess whether the hygiene infrastructure installed over the past decade remains in good working condition, and if the hygiene awareness initiatives—such as hand washing campaigns—are leading to sustained behavioral changes in schools.

Your efforts will also track whether these changes extend beyond the school environment, positively influencing hygiene practices at home and within the families of pupils. Additionally, your findings will inform decision-makers about the ongoing need for funding and support, especially as major donors phase out their contributions, ensuring the long-term sustainability of hygiene and sanitation improvements in rural schools.
