Kakamega Women's Empowerment Project
Kakamega Women's Empowerment Project (KWEP) in Lubao Kakamega County, Kenya works to eradicate poverty through education. KWEP believes an educated child is an educated society. A hurdle to KWEP’s success is a lack of books in the classroom. They are working to change that by obtaining books through donations. They also offer free tuition to students in need and free school uniforms.
