Child Welfare Society of Sierra Leone
Child Welfare Society of Sierra Leone (CWS-SL) addresses the issues of development and welfare of vulnerable children in Freetown, Sierra Leone. One way they are doing this is by battling the problems of high malnutrition and poor school attendance rates. CWS-SL is solving this problem by creating gardening and nutrition programs to improve the health of their students and thus improve their students’ ability to learn. CWS-SL also works to improve literacy rates and to empower young women.
